We continue to trade during this pandemic and wish all our customers to remain safe and well. We are aware that many schools will now have closed in order to reduce the pandemic amongst students and that this has been a stressful time for staff and students with many facing cancelled exams.  We look for return to normality and remain hopeful of things turning round for the new school year. Career paths are a hot topic of conversation for teens pursuing higher education, and even amongst individuals who have already begun their professional career. The demand for certain career paths is always in flux, but one constant is the need for those in science and engineering (S&E).
 
Luckily for those that are interested in mathematics and the sciences, there are many potential opportunities to choose from.
 
Thanks to ever-emerging new technology there is increasing need for technical scientists and engineers. In fact, electrical engineers are responsible for collaborating on many of our most sophisticated devices, from the functionality of laptops and cell phones to modern medical devices.
 
More than ever, knowledgeable young adults are needed to maintain our current technology, as well as develop more advanced innovations.
 
If you’re interested in pursuing a career in S&E, specifically electrical engineering, there are a number of qualities that are required of individuals who are pursuing this job path.
 
Some of the interpersonal traits of accomplished engineers include:

  • Solid Analytics & Reasoning Capability
